2 StEpS fOrWaRd 1 StEp BaCkWaRdS

So I think it's totally official my  one year old can WALK!!!! She can now stand up on her own. I think she still prefers to crawl just for the fact that she walks sideways a lot of the time or she walks forward and then starts to walk I mean fall backwards. So I bet by Jeremy's birthday (St. Patty's Day) she will be a 100% walker.

Madilynn is "1"

Here are some pictures from her first birthday. Manly eating her first cake which by the way loved. As you will be able to tell and also stained my carpet-note to whomever don't have pink icing or do it on tile-And then probably 20 minutes after eating her cake she crashed which gave us just enough time to clean up and then she was up for a few hours ready to play when mommy and daddy were ready to sleep. Ahh the joy's of being a mom!!!

She has started to walk. She can't stand up on her own, but if she pulls herself up, she is on the go with the biggest expression of "WOW look at me"! It's really cute. She is totally obsessed with strings. Any kind of string it could be the tiny'est thing and she loves to put it in her mouth and pull it out. It's really cute to watch her concentrate on it for ever. Let's just say it let's me get some things done around the house. I would have to say her favorite birthday gift is her wagon. That Grandma Pam got her. She thinks that is the best thing ever. In fact we had to take it downstairs because I got scared that she was going to fall into it. I can't wait to use it this summer. We now have so many toys, that I have no idea where to put them. You know these days there is no such thing as a small toy. Except my brother and nieces got her these cute girly cars and she even makes the noise of a car. SO DANG CUTE!!!! If anyone know's my layout of my house, I think that I am going to have to make our down-downstairs into her playroom. We don't use if for anything else anyways...!! Anyways I hope you enjoy the pics!!!

Madi is now 11 months old!!!

So I think that I am now caught up on my blogging. Sorry I had been slacking but with the holidays and everything it was just too hard to get to. So I think that besides this post I have 3 other posts so make sure you check them all out.

But yes my little girl is almost "1". I can't believe how the time flies. I tried to pick out a background that kind of looked like a birthday background because man I hate changing those things.

And I just got done rearanging all of my drawers and cabinets that her little fingers can reach so now everything is either plastic or towels for her to grab and play with. Those child lock things suck.

But here is a little catch up on her
-She has 6 teeth. 4 on top and 2 on the bottom
-Still isn't sleeping through the night (lucky me)
-I bet she will be walking by the time she is 1 (again lucky me)
-She can say Mama and Dada but I don't think that she can say I am Mama and Jeremy is Dada she can just say it.
-She loves to bend over and have you give her kisses on her forehead, even when she is on the phone she will put the phone up to her forehead so the person she is talking to can kiss her.
-I can pull all of her hair into a pony. Which is so darn cute but man is it quite the hassle
Let's see that's about it for right now.

Thanks for being patient and letting me get caught up.

What did Santa bring Madilynn????

We helped Santa pick out this awesome sit and stand Fischer Price toy.

It was a huge it with all of my children. Daddy, Pepper and Madi I think all enjoyed it.

We also got her a gloworm which now goes everywhere she does.

Decorating for Madi's first Christmas

Madilynn and her daddy putting up the Christmas star!

She started out to be very gentle in unwrapping her gift

She is really getting into it.....or on it???

The SCARE of my life!!!

So today, we gave Madi some scrabbled eggs. And then we left to go to a soccer game. Well when we got there she was all swollen in the face and really red. So I turned right around and went straight to the Dr.'s. I didn't think that anything would be wrong in giving her the eggs because she had no problem getting her first flu shot. But now they think that she is allergic to the eggs and not to get the 2nd flu shot. So now I am totally freaking out because I have to think of everyone and anyone that could come into contact with her. But I am so glad by the time we got to the Dr.'s she was pretty much clear so hopefully we will be able to revisit eggs when she is a little bit older......
